Access control

KNECT Core Access, coming soon

KNECT Core Access is an access controller for a site with no access panel, or one whose system is being replaced. Each controller runs one or two doors, holds the credentials and makes the access decision itself.

KNECT Core Access or a wireless bridge

A wireless bridge extends an access panel that's staying. KNECT Core Access is the access control system itself, for a site with no panel to extend.

Use KNECT Core Access when

  • The site has no access control, or the system in it is being replaced.
  • It's two to fifteen doors, like an office, a medical office, a shop or a warehouse.
  • You want credentials, roles and schedules without a head end in a closet.

Use a wireless bridge when

  • There's an access panel staying, and you need to reach a door or gate the wire won't.
  • The job needs extra credential types, cameras or other surveillance integration, which take a full panel.
